Flights:
There are budget flights by Ryanair, FlyBe and EasyJet to Perpignan and Carcassone from several UK airports, and BA fly to Toulouse about 2.5 hours away.
Ryanair fly from several UK airports to Girona airport, about 110kms from Collioure.
Directions:
The dual carriageway N114 leads direct from Perpignan to Collioure.
From Perpignan airport take the route avoiding the city centre and follow the signs for the D914 direction Elne and onwards to Collioure.
Girona airport is situated adjacent to the motorway which runs between Spain and France. Join the motorway heading East towards La Jonquera and France.
From the first exit (43) on the French side of the border at Le Boulou, the upgraded D618 links with the D914 direct to Collioure.
There is a bus service from Perpignan airport to the city centre from which there are regular bus and train services to Collioure.
Approximately 1 hour driving time.
There is now a bus which runs direct from Girona airport to Perpignan 5 times per day. Then either take the bus or train from Perpignan to Collioure or the bus will drop off at Le Boulou from where a taxi can be taken to Collioure.

There are sleeper trains from Paris direct to Collioure
By Car:
There are a number of choices of route from the channel coast dependant on your choice of crossing. However all routes lead to Autoroute A9 La Catalane to Perpignan where you should take Exit 42 Perpignan Sud and then follow the signs for D914 direction Elne. |
